Working in partnership with the local Havering Borough Council, Protect Earth were able to come in and assist in the planting of 950 new trees and shrubs.

Havering, London
Partnering with Havering Borough Council to fund tree planting on council land, taking the form of one pocket of low density woodland, and another amazing miniforest in a park which could do with some shade.
Site Updates
Havering Council enjoyed our support on the last site, and wanted to plant a massive 14,000 trees to create a few miniforests in a nearby park that was otherwise devoid of shade and wildlife.
These miniforests will encourage quick growth from all the saplings as they jostle for light, creating a dense thicket of habitat for all sorts of birds and hedgehogs.
As the trees grow they will cool the air passing through it which will benefit the nearby homes in intense summers.
