We are a registered charity (no. 1192453). You are funding planting and aftercare. We do not sell carbon credits.
What your sponsorship buys
Your sponsorship covers:
- The sapling itself; native species, matched to the site by our ecologists.
- Protection from deer and rabbits, and mulch to hold back competing plants and grasses.
- Planting, by our teams and our volunteers.
- Years of aftercare; watering in a drought, clearing growth, repairing guards.
- Re-stocking. When a tree fails, we plant another one in its place.
- Survival surveys; we track and report on the success of each planting.
We are a charity, not a carbon broker. There is no offset certificate here and no claim made on your behalf — just woodland that exists because you paid for it.
See exactly where your trees went
Every site we work on has its own page: where it is, what went in the ground, who owns the land, and what has happened since. Those pages keep updating for as long as we manage the site; planting, maintenance visits, ecology surveys, setbacks and all.
Your sponsorship comes with a certificate showing your trees, their species and location, linking through to the living page for that site.
We publish our survival rate too. It currently sits at 79.9% across everything we have planted.
Bring your team out to plant
Sponsorship and team days work well together. Come out for a planting day and your colleagues get to put the trees in the ground themselves, guided by our experts — we have had companies plant 2,000+ trees in a single day.
