High Wood Summer Fair
High Wood Summer Fair
Come to the Summer Fair with a difference!
We are holding our fourth annual Summer Fair in the middle of High Wood, Liskeard. High Wood has been mainly a tree plantation since the 1960s and Protect Earth are restoring this ancient woodland to it’s former glory. It is also part of a UNESCO World Heritage site thanks to the Liskeard and Caradon Railway.
This is a family day out with free traditional games, scavenger hunts, and craft for younger children. See the owls and polecat from the Screech Owl Sanctuary and Animal Park and find out who lives in the local river.
Lots of activities for those interested in nature, the environment, history and crafts. Vegan food options are available on all food stalls.
